Physiotherapy for Babies and Children

Physiotherapy for Babies

Physiotherapy in infants focuses on how they are developing their movement skills. This includes developing head and trunk control, as well as learning skills such as rolling and crawling.  We also treat conditions specific to infants such as torticollis and plagiocephaly (flattening of the head)

Physiotherapy for Children

Physiotherapy helps to promote well-being in children with movement difficulties, or after injury or disability.  At Therapy Tree we specialise in treating children with neurological conditions, developmental delay and movement difficulties. We try to make therapy as fun and engaging for therapy as we can for children, using play to promote movement.

Common Conditions Seen

  • Brain injury
  • Motor delay
  • Torticollis
  • Genetic conditions
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Spina Bifida
